Why Osteria –

We honestly looked at all the local venues plus some in Byron. We looked at Osteria last, and just loved it. We knew that PLB Group already had a great reputation for great food and drinks – and the private garden area plus the outdoor bar sparked our interest as we really wanted an outdoor element to our day. It seemed like the perfect fit for us and was just enough of a blank canvas to put our twist on things. We also found what the venue offered as part of the packages really reasonable – we really felt taken care of on all the important aspects here.

The Best Part –

Being locals, it was just down the road. So location, food and the drinks! And the romantic vibes the garden ceremony brings! Everyone had a great time and when the outdoor whisky and cocktail bar opened it was even better.

Favourite Thing on the Menu –

All of it, everyone raved about the food during the reception. I loved the pasta.

A Special Moment –

Out on location photos we were up the top of Cabarita headland, and the clouds looked really dark and heavy. We somehow missed on getting drenched, and it sun-showered on us lightly for a few minutes. The light was stunning, peeking through the dark clouds, and there was a big rainbow across the ocean. It also hailed everywhere north of Tweed Heads that day. Aside from that, walking down the aisle and having our nieces and nephews a part of the ceremony was really special to us, and of course getting to share the day with our nearest and dearest. Getting to spend a few minutes alone together in the garden during the evening away from the reception was really nice too, as the day just flew by, it was so nice to soak up a special moment as newly husband and wife.

Final Shoutouts –

Sam our coordinator was absolutely amazing. We cannot fault his communication leading up to the day, and he was a pleasure to deal with. The planners we met with prior to the day to finalise detail were absolutely fantastic.
