Some dates just feel right. For Amelia and Dylan, 10.10.25 was never the plan, it was a happy accident that became one of the best decisions of their wedding. When Osteria Weddings confirmed the Friday was available, the deal was sealed, and now they have a simple date to remember their anniversary.
A destination wedding feel on the Tweed Coast
Amelia + Dylan wanted a venue that gave their guests the feeling of a destination wedding without the logistics of one. Osteria Weddings, set in the coastal village of Casuarina on the NSW Tweed Coast, was the answer.
“We wanted a location that felt like a destination wedding,” Amelia explains. “It was the perfect venue to have all our 120 favourite people in one place for a great cost. We had heard excellent things about the food and beverage options as well.”
That word-of-mouth reputation for food and drink is one Osteria has built since opening in 2014 and one the couple were determined to put to the test. (Spoiler: the pasta won.)

Amelia wore a gown by Alena Leena Bridal, with hair by Komb Hair and makeup by Kate Devlin, a team that understood the assignment and delivered it flawlessly.
The Day Itself
“Our wedding day was more than anything we could have dreamt of,” says Amelia. “All our favourite people in one place, celebrating a night of love, laughs and amazing memories.”
The Osteria team’s flexibility and attentiveness ran throughout the entire day. “The location, the space and the service from the staff,” Amelia says. “And the flexibility to make it how we had dreamed of.”
The Food
Ask any couple what they remember most about their reception menu and you might expect a beautiful canapé or a thoughtful dessert. For Amelia + Dylan, the answer came quickly: the pasta. Osteria’s reputation for exceptional food is a recurring thread in every couple’s story and this wedding was no different.
The Whisky Bar
