Tara + Chelsea – Osteria Wedding

Tara + Chelsea said “I do” in our garden on a perfectly sunny April afternoon. Their day was filled with so much love, we can’t help but smile when we look through their beautiful gallery, courtesy of Figtree Pictures. We hear more from our beautiful brides on their dream day;

HOW THEY MET –

Chelsea and I met through mutual friends. We’d known of each other for a while but had never really engaged in too much conversation. That all changed one day at an event when we struck up some deep conversation, Chelsea shouted me a beer and the rest is history!

THE PROPOSAL –

Chelsea proposed to me, it was really beautiful. We were casually sitting on the beach at Nobby’s and she completely surprised me.

WHY OSTERIA –

We chose Osteria because we were really looking for a venue that was able to have both the reception and ceremony in the one location, we also love the Kingscliff/Casuarina area and often travel down for short holidays. We met the weddings manager, who showed us around the venue and we instantly fell in love with everything Osteria had to offer!! It is such a beautiful venue and the fairy lights were just magical on the night!! The venue felt very much like us, relaxed, beautiful and so much fun!

THE SPECIAL MOMENTS –

That’s a hard one to pin down, the entire day/night felt so special. I think from the outset we just wanted to create a night of celebration, not sticking to too many formalities and just creating a night where everyone could relax and enjoy themselves. Chelsea and I are generally relaxed and fairly easy going and I think the day/night really reflected that. One of the really special and memorable moments was definitely the speeches, to hear the love and support that we are surrounded by from our friends and family and being able to celebrate our journey with them was just so special. We also had some amazing vendors and venue staff that really made the day and night run so smoothly. As cliche as it is to say the day was absolutely and utterly perfect for us!!!
